Hackfest 3.1: Camping!
Organized by Lennon Day-Reynolds
Time: Thursday, June 15, 2006 from 6–10pm
Location: Ugly Mug Coffee, 8017 SE 13th Ave. Portland, OR 97202
Agenda
We’ll work on the “Cat Herder” re-write in Camping, based on work begun by Lennon (a.k.a. rcoder) with an eye towards potentially replacing or supplementing the current system.
Bring a laptop if you can; we’ll be working with the following development environment (all available via Rubygems):
- Camping (stable gem is fine)
- Markaby (use the ‘markaby-careful’ branch from _why’s SVN repos, or the pre-built gem rcoder built)
- Mongrel (optional, but way faster than WEBrick)
- SQLite3 (see _why’s instructions)
- Mosquito (only available via SVN from topfunky)
